Child and Family Services of Grand Erie (CFS GE) is recruiting volunteers to serve on its Board of Directors and Committees.
Governance Opportunity
CFS GE has a provincial mandate to provide child protection services in City of Brantford, the counties of Brant, Haldimand, Norfolk and Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation communities. We believe that, together with the entire community, we share the responsibility of nurturing, protecting, educating and guiding all children, youth and their families.
CFS GE is currently seeking the following skills & experience:
- Corporate Law / Justice
- Governance / Not for Profit
- African Canadian
- Former Youth In/From Care
- 2SLGTBQ+
- & Urban Indigenous Perspectives
Other valuable expertise:
- Addictions/Mental Health/Trauma
- Health Care
- Human Resources
- IT Risk Management
- Government Relations
If you would like to influence how child welfare services are delivered to families in our community, we encourage you to submit a letter of interest stating the reasons why you would like to join our Board of Directors no later than May 12, 2022 at 4:30 pm. You must be an individual eighteen (18) years of age or over and reside, primarily carry-on business, or be employed in the area served by the agency.
