Programs & Services
All families will experience stress and challenges over time. Our hope is to connect families to the help they need.
There are various ways that we are able to support families through the services we offer. Some of these services include support to the family where we endeavour to maintain the well-being of all members of a family, as well as to increase the family’s capacity to manage the stressors that are impacting them.
While carrying out our child welfare mandate, CFS GE is committed to embedding best practices related to the Truth & Reconciliation Commission of Canada Child Welfare Calls to Action and Race Equity Practices developed by the OACAS One Vision One Voice project.
The goal of all our programs and services is to support individuals and families in achieving a sense of personal and family well-being. Those who access our services do so as members of the community and as consumers of social services. They are entitled to evaluate our programs and to share feedback, whether positive experiences, concerns, or suggestions, with our staff and the Board of Directors.
Our agency’s mandate is a challenging one. We are deeply grateful for the support we receive from the community, including resource families, volunteers, businesses, community partners, service groups, and many other organizations and individuals. This continued support enables us to serve children, youth, and families across our counties now and into the future.
